Hey, phenomenal women!
I’m Tamera Vallejo, I’ve spent my life in leadership—first in the corporate world, then as a startup founder, and later in the church. Over 30 years, I’ve experienced both real success and deep disappointment. What I understand now—through experience and hindsight—is that disappointment, especially when it repeats around the same theme, doesn’t just hurt once.
It compounds.
And over time, those layered disappointments can quietly distort how we see ourselves—our identity, our worth, and even our calling. For me, those layers of disappointment culminated into a breaking point and the cost became too much.
In 2020, when the pandemic hit, I was the CEO of three amazingly impactful organizations, a co-working space with exceptional members and multiple programs for starting, building and growing impact driven businesses and ministries; a social enterprise bringing community driven solutions to social issues like homelessness and poverty, and a real estate brokerage leveraging real estate for good! But I was exhausted and on a fast track to burnout. Being forced to slow down, helped me realize that while I still wanted to have high impact in life, leadership and business, I wanted to be more intentional about how I did it, and I wanted to do it with more margin and meaning.
This is probably going to ruffle some feathers, but I also came to the realization that I was never going to get to the top of my game learning from men only. Don’t get me wrong! I have been the only woman in a room full of men many times and I’m grateful for the guys! But, let’s be honest, women are different from men. And I knew that if I was going to finish well, I needed to do some things HER way. And it turns out, I’m not the only woman who feels this way. As I met with my fellow leaders, founders and sisters, I discovered they were missing HER too!
So I spent two years researching, writing, developing and testing how women were different, the distinctions they carry, their unique characteristics and the way that we do things. And out of that time, I created the Jesus In Pink Framework and HER Leadership Blueprint. And God Restored me and allowed me to help restore others like me who had experienced brokenness of Identity, Purpose, Leadership and Calling.
But then He asked me to take it one step further, knowing that Restoring Women wasn’t enough. I knew that God was shifting the Church out of the existing systems of hierarchy and Leadership driven platforms, to an Ecosystem approach that is more consistent with His design for the Church. And that He ultimately wanted the Church to take its place in Reconciling Culture.
RESTORE WOMEN, SHIFT THE CHURCH,RECONCILE CULTURE
An authentic examination of the limiting beliefs of the Church directed at Women in Leadership, Jesus In Pink, is for anyone who loves Jesus but is exhausted by the male centric culture in the church and its intentional attempts to extend those beliefs to culture. As Tamera Vallejo, invites you on the same journey God took her on, she shares how God restored her trust in Him while reconciling many truths, lies and motivations behind the beliefs.
Through her own deeply personal story, Tamera comes to terms with how the limiting Scriptures and the behaviors associated with those beliefs, has resulted in a culture today that uses them to shut down, silence, abuse and perpetuate crimes against women often in the name of Jesus. And she exhorts those in the Church to reexamine their own truths, that many, including Pastors, have never explored for themselves, and determine if Jesus intended Scripture to be used to disrupt the identities, purposes, leadership assignments, and calling of women around the world.
Jesus In Pink is written for those of you who do not feel the freedom to be who God designed you to be, either in the church or in culture, and are wondering if you are part of God’s plan, especially if you are a woman in leadership and passionate about Jesus. As you work through the PINK framework, you will not only experience healing, but God will restore the Power of Your Kingdom Blueprint, including your Prophetic Identity, Incubated purpose, Nurtured leadership, and Kingdom calling.
